Removed from the shop

Any reason why the game was removed from the shop?
Remember I had this game on my wishlist yesterday, now it's gone.

Я тоже неприятно удивлён этому факту. Я сегодня рекомендовал к покупке этой игры другу и через несколько часов игра уже убрана с продажи. Наверное это сделал разработчик для продвижения своей последней неудачной версии игры. Очень жаль. Авторитет издателя упал в моих глазах.

looking at previous removals by this company on line, looks as if licences expired :( look out for it to be given away somewhere look the humble store with some luck you may find a copy, ebay still has keys at this time??? check before you buy one if they will work first

I just added the Grid + Grid Autosport Bundle today on my wishlist, went on to buy a paysafecard and when I returned it was removed already. I think it has to do with licenses or something. Grid 1,2, dirt 3 and others have been removed too in the past. But you can still buy keys tho. InstantGaming keys (and probably keys from other sellers too) work even if the game isn‘t in the steam shop anymore.

i ve been reading in other discussion blog that steam could rebuy the license, like did it with other games

Steam has nothing to do with the license of this game. It has everything got to do with codemasters. CM games usually license cars/music for up to 5-8 years, so after that amount of time, they remove it because they're not allowed to sell it anymore, unless they remove content, or relicense everything, but they won't do that when the game has reached the 99% potential sales by now.

if you mean the multiplayer, it won't die... yet. DiRT 3 complete was delisted 4 years ago, yet it's still up, the game uses steamworks, so it's unlikely it'll be shut down anytime soon

For anyone who missed out on the stuff, just buy a cheap steam key, it was in a $1 humble bundle a month ago, CM seems to add games to their humble bundle just before it's removed, so you will have cheap keys going around for a long time

the only issue is you cannot get the Free DLC's anymore.

So I got the game yesterday with a complete key.. Does anyone know how can I add the high res pack? Is the only DLC I don't have and can't activate it

I also think it's about the licenses. With the launch of GRID 2019 they had to double pay for the licenses so they decided to dicontinue this title. Makes sense IMO.

брал в обоих магазинах, но рекомендую все же первый, второй я использую как альтернативный вариант, когда вналичии на стимбай нет игры.

Стим цензурит слово, под звездочками "г2а".
