And I only noticed this with Pincoyas soldier. Didn't seem to be an issue with the other two characters the last couple days I been playing.
I've only played with Katrien so far, do the other characters have different soldiers or something? Also OP mentioned he was using Katrien's soldier, so my comment stands as far as that goes.
I was stuck in the same places until I found a previous thread that covered this.
Woah, thanks for the info. Never knew that
This is how high I'm able to jump without triggering the mantling. I started at the hovering platform below, and I'm desperately trying to reach an alter.
Still can't get past it unless I somehow stick to the wall at the right height below the edge and trigger another jump, which is super rare in execution, since if you double jumped before sticking to the wall, you can only perform a single hop right after...
I really can't reach it...
EDIT: ok, after 40 jumps I manage to reach it. For some reason the character doesn't want to climb so I needed the best jump possible for my foot to reach the edge.
If you are playing the Lumber jack, you can sometimes cheese it by chaining an up attack into your jump.
Also, be aware the the soliders are not as agile as the main heros. You have to hold down the space bar and charge their jump.
