I do not find even the product key for reg. on the Magix homepage so I can get support
steam support still no answer to this problem-
First of all, sorry to her about the problems you're apparently experiencing. Please be assured that we are looking into this. However, in order to do so, we will need more information and would encourage you to get in touch directly with our tech support team. There is no serial number for the Steam version, but you will be able to register your product via the appropriate option in the "Help" menu of the program. Once registered, you can raise a support ticket through your MAGIX user account on our support website {LINK REMOVED}(http://support.magix.net). You will be able to pick the Steam product from your list of registered products. If you're having problems with that, please log out completely from the support website and log back in again, or simply raise a ticket via the "sales" branch of the contact facility. The tickets will be assigned to the correct department in the end.
Here are some details that we would be interested in to further analyze your problems:
1) screenshots of any error messages you may receive
2) the program log files (zipped) stored in the following location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\MAGIX\_logs
3) Screenshots of the following folders' contents might also be helpful:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\MAGIX\_common\MxSynth
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\MAGIX\_common\Soundpools\Basics_20
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\MAGIX\Music Maker 2014 Premium\_Content\Synth
The most important thing is that you get in touch with support, though. Our team will instruct you as to what we will need etc.
Thanks!
I have 8 Packages which can not be installed due to their predefined nonexistance.
Also they seem all in all to be named wrongly "*.ms_" instead of *.msi
Can we have a list of those 8 files, so we can search for them ?
Edit: We just checked, no one I know that bought this too has the folder "./common/MAGIX/_common/MxSynth"
Nonexistant on Win7,Win8 and one Vista System
Unfortunately, in our Development version all the flags for the VITA components were set to published, so we would never see this error. Once the VITA status has been corrected, then you should be able to repair the install by right clicking on the program name and going to properties. Then selecting Check File Integrity option, the additional files should then download.
Sorry for the inconvienience.
