Can't open box (issue solved)

I have the Pimax Crystal Light and I'm not able to use the key to open the first box (so probably all other boxes as well..).

I found the key, put it into the box, but while I'm able to grab the key, I can't seem to be able to turn it to open the box. What am I doing wrong here..?

To open the chest just pull on the handle upwards
