Does anyone know how to enable the console in the game? I've added 'wirbelwind' to the autoexec.cfg, but the tilde key doesn't seem to open the console. Some help would be appreciated.

Hmmm... I think the command has to be added specifically to the END of the autoexec.cfg file. ie: on the last line. ..If it's a problem with the key, you can also add the command "bind console 'F12'" to the input.cfg file (or choose a key other than F12.) See if that works better.

Once that's done, a press of the ~ (tilde) key, or whatever key you bind, should get the console to open. .. I love the console. It can get me some awesome weapons. :)

Wandering around with a team armed with six Prototype 8M1's and six Sea Devil's is just a whole lot of fun. ..those enemies really go flying when several Sea Devil shells take them out. And the 8M1 bolts go through just about everything.

Where is that cfg file? I don't even find where Steam installed the game files.

You don't have to know where steam installed anything. Just right-click on the Silent Storm entry in your Steam games list, go to Properties, then the Local Files tab, and click the Browse Local Files... button. This will take you to the Silent Storm install folder. From there just open the "cfg" folder, and the "autoexec.cfg" file is in there.

Open it in a text editor, and add "wirbelwind" to the end of the file. (on its own line .. doesn't matter if there's a return/enter after it. I just tested it to find out.) Then Google for the Silent Storm cheat codes. They're a lot of fun, whether you're cheating or just tweaking things.
