Is there a consistent way to get silenced sniper rifles/ rare weapons?

I found one in the rocket ship bad guy escape mission, so I was wondering if there were more. Is there a weapon rarity chart somewhere?

It's been a while but IIRC there is one silenced sniper rifle, SMG and pistol to be found durring missions. The rifle is OP as you can use it to kill from across the map if you use a spotter.

You have found the only guaranteed silenced sniper rifle. (it's there on that map, whether you're playing axis or allies.) ..I kinda like it, but tend to stick with the other rifles I've found by then as they have better range and damage.

If you look for the numerous Silent Storm walkthroughs on the web (which all seem to be the same text file) it lists the rare weapons in there. The main things you have to know to look for are the rare random missions on the Switzerland map .. they can take quite a few seconds to pop up. There are two main ones, and they each produce a very interesting weapon that you won't find anywhere else. IMHO one of them (with a sci-fi theme) is maybe over-powered. I prefer to play without it these days.

The stun rifle is silent, but its only really effective in S3
