Save files location?

I need to complete the game with all the special characters, but in order to do that i have to delete a savegame slot. I dont wanna lose that savegame file and im trying to locate the directory where profiles are saved, but without success. If anyone has info please share, thanks!

I also wondered this and used Process Monitor to find out. Turns out the game saves everything to the registry, it is located in the following location:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Raylight\FreeRunning

The launcher settings are saved here in different keys, unfortunately all the 5 save slots are in a single key called "SaveGame". I don't know how to separate the save slots or edit them (the saves are in their own format), but you can at least back them up by exporting the registry keys. You will still have to delete one of the save slots, however you will be able to restore it later on if you want.

Also, even if you delete all your save slots, you still keep all the characters you unlocked. I suppose that's why it is this way.
