Game won't start / Black Screen

I click on Play, it opens a black screen which either remains doing nothing, or closes itself. Have checked integrity of files and all that. Any ideas?

Have you guys also tried this (tutorial) I wrote almost a year ago? I had succes with it and so did someone else.

I'm sorry, there will be no fix for it.. I'm just saying because of my knowledge of the past... If you can, and this topic: "START UP error (probably fix for you guys)" does not work for you, refund it. The company who bought this game from the developers do not seem to care about updates.

I waited too long for a fix, and the fix never came, get that refund.

I found a solution to my problem!
What I just did not do ...
Checked the hash;
Run as administrator;
Includes compatibility mode;
Performed a scan of Windows files;
Installed Windows 7 next to Windows 10;
Nothing helped. It turned out the game had to be installed on the C: /
And why I did not immediately remember about this decision.

So if you can not do anything, remove the game, clean the registry and then install it on drive C:/

guys i got my running on steam i putted 1080x840 to force change my resolution on launch options launch options

i think the program cant use today resolution since it used a much smaller resolution that your computer cant support but i dont know

Thank you. Solution for me is to remove head set usb-cable from computer while intro is run, then, plug it back in. Works fine on windows 10 after that "fix".

THIS SOLVES EVERY PROBLEM YOU HAVE WITH GROUND CONTROL 2

the game is over sensitive for high tech gear, headsets mouses, etc, for me it was my wireless headset, i unplugged it before startup and replugged it after startup.. works fine now..

my game DOES NOT start when my headset is plugged in
