The games' interfaces went progressively worse. And they just can't let go of trying to mess with it, they always try to make things more fancy and seemingly "intuitive", but honestly, just keep it SIMPLE.
The interface of the first game was basically perfect as it was. The only thing they did better in BS2 was showing the hotspot's name when hovering.
Some months back I tried to play BS5 again and just the fact that clicking anywhere on the ground to move there would HIDE my damn cursor and instead show some useless footsteps animation frozen in place was so utterly irritating to me that I turned the game off again.
I also fear that Reforged's UI will annoy me to hell, from what I can tell from the trailers. Like the magnetic sticky hotspots, they will definitely drive me crazy in my perception and hand-eye-coordination.
