Well I'm thinking of getting the Collector's Edition but a) it costs a LOT more than the CE did for THPS 1+2 for the same items (probably because the deck comes from Mexico and you-know-what effed with the price) and b) I can't talk about that here...

Honestly the deluxe edition of this game is incredibly hard to justify. Standard Edition all the way for me.

I probably will, but only because there's hardly any other games coming out this year that I'd have to budget for them as well. So I can afford to splurge on one title that I actually was excited to finally play.

I have to. Doom’s my favorite game, and I thought the deluxe for 1+2 was worth it.

Just a shame to paywall special characters, Doomguy was free in the PC version of THPS3 alongside the other guests that appeared in the OG games.

Standard edition is probably the better buy for most. I went with the deluxe edition since THPS3 is my favorite game ever, but I would've skipped the DOOM stuff if it was any other title honestly.

People without patience. Rewarding companies for this early access [CENSORED] is just a horrible thing.
And that is even beside the point of preordering games which has been proven time and time and time again (barring a few exceptions) to just be a poor/bad idea.
Bad optimisation, if running at all, server issues, denuvo, DLC/content passses, etc.
Waiting a while getting patches, DLC and a discount (which can happen as soon as 1-3 months nowadays) is highly advisable.

I'm an older gamer and still have the original 3 and 4. This game I have no problem preordering and paying full price. If it's anything like 1+2 remake I'll be happy.

I would lose my ♥♥♥♥ if they add Darth Maul in this, like the Battlefront 2017 skin or something. I don't know if they have the proper licencing to bring back all the extra skaters, but we'll see. Maybe they will if the demand is big enough.

I'm bummed that the Digital Deluxe gets three days early. But the Foundry Demo and Exclusive skin are still good enough for me.
