Still no American Wasteland?

Tony Hawk's Underground and American Wasteland was my all-time favourite skateboard games. I do not understand why they only do remakes for the (gameplay-wise) boring parts, in my opinion.

Tony Hawk American Wasteland is the 7th game in the series. So far they have remastered, the first two - and that was 5 years ago! Now finally we're getting 3&4 - (which it seems they can't even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do that right with the removal of career mode from 4) and you want to sit here and complain about why YOUR favourite - number 7 - hasn't been done yet? Smh man.

I don't know if this is a hot take or not, but...

I thought American Wasteland was the game that started the entire franchise's downfall. Yeah, I thought it was awful. Plagued with excessive tutorials and hand-holding even right near the end which gets no better when played on the hardest difficulty, it felt like a major disappointment compared to the Underground games before it, especially Underground 2 which never held your hand and is still IMO where the series peaked.

For context, I had zero nostalgia for either the PS2 version of Pro Skater 4 or American Wasteland. (I grew up with THPS4 on PS1, but that was a different game entirely) Despite this, I still found THPS4 to be a highly enjoyable game with challenging objectives and fun levels, both of which THAW lacked almost completely.

Shred the original parks with the classic roster of skaters joined by new parks, skaters, and tricks in a remake of THPS 3 + 4, featuring Career mode, cross-platform multiplayer, enhanced creation tools, New Game+, and more. Alert the neighborhood and grab your skate buddies because the shred’s not dead. It’s back and better than ever.

straight from the post in the news feed, they didnt remove career mode lmao the wording on the site is very awfully put.
so the fact that they properly worded things on the steams news post tells you otherwise,

plus we have no idea how the games going to be worked until youtubers streamers and fake journalist reviews get their copies in june or april.
