Camera/ Controls
The camera and controls need work. Just have an option for a behind camera only. I don't like failing because I can't see what is coming in front of me. Plus, the controls "reverse" when the camera flips which adds a layer of irritation.

But...That's the point of the game. If you dont like the main feature of the game, I think the game is just not for you.

I saw this game in the upcoming releases and was somewhat interested. Fighting the camera looks like the biggest challenge. I will be skipping this game due to the camera being exactly what the previews show. I hope the developers read this criticism and make their next game with reasonable camera options.

It's ok if you like the game and I don't, but could you explain why the main feature of the game is poor camera and controls? Seems like a strange choice for features.

The camera it's like that cause you can see all the alternative and secret path you wouldn't be able to see from the back of the character. Also would be too much easy (and boring) to ski around.

It's not a feauture, it's how the game is intended to play out

What the user above me said (Trueshape) said, plus : The game is supposed to be a challenge, like the old arcade games. You compete for points against others or yourself. It's meant to be extremely challenging.

I just did my first slope and its less challenging then they're original even, imo, but I dont know how its going to scale up yet.

The camera and controls are great imo, basically, the same as their previous title.

Alright, if that's what it is, then that's what it is. You're right, not for me. Not my kind of challenge.
@BobbyThumbs, take a look at Grand Mountain Adventure for an alternative skiing game with a behind-the-player camera option.

Having played Lonely Mountains: Downhill, I look forward to getting Snow Riders soon.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check it out.

There was a camera mod for Lonely Mountains for third/first person that worked great. Check it out here: https://github.com/DevdudeX/LMD-Alternative-Camera-Mod

I'd assume they'd update it to work with Snow Riders as well.
