Outfit glitch. Can’t wear anything else.

I’m literally confined to wearing things only in the outfit area until they can make a fix that allows you to take them off, cuz as it stands right now, the cosmetic is overlayed on top of your clothing, so any torso or leg options are impossible to change. Honestly extremely frustrating.

Actually since I bought the outfit i haven’t been able to join any multiplayer games. It either freezes or I’m stuck in infinite loading loops. Seems related. I know this is on steam forums but it’s happening on my series X. Not sure if it’s happening on PC.

At this point I either get the pc version or don’t play until they fix the bugs on the console side I guess.

You just need to deselect the outfit. It's like you're wearing it over your other clothes.

Additionally, they just released a patch today for Game Pass and Steam. it's the second patch to address MP issues. Check the news feed for details.

That’s part of the problem there is no deselect option. Only “A” to customize. I see a box in the upper left with an X but I can’t highlight it at all so it may be a particular Xbox issue. I’ll go check the update notes though.

Ah, yea I've had the same problem on PC as well, but I can use the mouse. I think you can also try hitting Y (random outfit). Press it a couple times to deselect the outfit.

This issue with not being able to select the option in the very top left also persists with the unique coat and pants that folks who maxed out the demo received. Press Y enough times and you'll land on it.

I’ve seem to find out myself that the take off outfit button can be reached if you go to the upper right of the list then press up.

It’s placed in the upper left but I guess in reality they have that button above the others. Means the outfit menu navigation is not where it’s actually visually placed. Needless to say. Still a bug to get to.

And as of now since they updated it I can’t join ANY quick matches so there’s that now.. 😒

If you haven't already unlocked all the full outfits (level 50), you can get to the deselect option (top-left box) by first clicking on an outfit that's still locked. After closing the message that pops up saying the outfit isn't unlocked yet, your cursor/selection will default back to the top-left box, which you can now properly select and take off your outfit.
