Have to say this would also be an enormous plus for me. I loved Downhill loads but always thought it could be improved almost only by having local multiplayer - whether as split-screen, a micro-machines-esque point losing by getting behind the screen or just a sort of turn-based small sections mode. I don't know.

Imagine, christmas holidays, snow, warm living room, dark outside and Snow Riders in couch-coop, 2-4 people racibg against each other.
Why do I have a 70" flat? Couch-Coop!

How would this be possible since skiers tend to go different speeds and crashes reset to checkpoints?

The Lego co-op games do this pretty well; single screen if possible, gradual transition to a dynamic split-screen if too far away.

Yes I thought it came with and unfortunately it didnt.

Online multiplayer is cool and all but itll be dead in some years. Which is fine, but it wouldn't be dead in my couch if I could play Split Screen with the family.

Thank you all for being that interested in the game. We've received lots of requests for local multiplayer and we're thinking about adding it to the game but I cannot promise anything just yet. Just know that we've received the feedback and will look into it
