Obscure II Widescreen Patch?

A *proper* widescreen patch was made for Obscure last year by someone named killer-m (it's available on www.wsgf.org ). Does anyone know if there is a version of killer-m's patch that will work with Obscure II?

I have been in contact with Killer-m this week and they are kindly attempting to make the same fix for the 2nd game but it will take some time to fix the HUD.

Any news on that? I couldn't find anything at WSGF. Widescreen patch for Obscure 1 was really awesome. I just finished the game and wanted to start with Obscure 2.

Those guys who made the widescreen patch for the first Obscure title deserve a medal, it works flawlessly with the Steam version and makes the game so much better. I really hope that a new patch gets released soon for the sequel!

i found this before i gave up and just beat the game (its short).

No luck so far. The normal fix doesn't work for the Steam version, while the so-called "workaround fix" is nothing but a crappy ugly stretch.
