from the creepy atmosphere i like the first one more
so all in all
i love both equal ^^
2 also makes the terrible, terrible mistake of enforcing certain character pairs, but making the girls weaker in melee combat. As in, they swing way, way, wayyyy slower. This feels out of character for Shannon, to begin with, but also forces you to pull "Guys smash, girls shoot" all over the place.
Luckily, Final Exam is once again very fun and nice to get through, although the story is barely there, the gameplay is excellent. Hell, the minigames actually work against it because combat is enjoyable and they feel like padding.
So yeah, to anyone reading this, ObsCure 1-Awesome, Obscure 2-Meh, Final Exam-Awesome but padded.
Obscure: the only game where when I heard something outside slowly scratching the window - I ran over and smash the window in the hopes that i'll catch it in the act!
