Sum 41 Gone?
It has been an extremely long time since I played the original Obscure, but one thing I'm positive I remember is Sum 41 - Still Waiting playing in the opening cinematic. Now it has been replaced by some other track I've never heard, this isn't game breaking obviously I just thought it was weird. Think it was removed due to copyright or something?

So far the port is fantastic even with the black bars at the side of the screen. They don't bother me that much, I'm using a controller and everything works great, I honestly doubt I'll even attempt to use a keyboard for this game. But yeah, Sum 41 was playing in the intro, right? Or am I just imagining things...

You're not imagining things.

Was featured on the first games cover kind of prominently. Probably removed for copyright reasons.

Total shame, it would have been a nice nostalgia trip to see the full thing in its PC glory.
Guess I'll just settle for the original song.

I miss Sum 41...
We'll get a mod hopefully. Taking out the music ruined Crazy Taxi's charm.

Thing is though - they were either completly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nuts, and stole the music - or, what any company with a sense of anything, they bought the rights to use it
If they stole it then it'd be put down pretty quick don't you think?

You really have no idea how music copyright works, do you? Obviously they bought the rights, they would of been sued ten-times over already if they hadn't. But copyright is a fickle thing, especially when it comes to re-releases or the like.

I only played the game a short time, since I didn't own it, my friend did. But that was one of the biggest things I remembered was the Sum 41 - Still Waiting as the intro haha

Or rather licensing reasons.

I believe copyright claims and relations can last for a finite amount of time, unless i'm mistaken...

I don't see why we can't just replace the existing video with that one.

^yeah. Wow, just watched the intro. Very impressed, and the song goes perfect with the whole thing. The contents of the intro itself look extremely well done, all around for it's age.
