Is the steam version playable?

Or am I better off emulating it? Old Steam games tend to be kind of awful

It's the best version of ObsCure you can get out of the box beside the removal of the original intro song, this version was remade for newer PC

Yes, ObsCure works very well on modern machines, specially the Steam version, since it has support for modern controllers.

The song Still Waiting from Sum41 isn't in the steam release, probably copyright/licence issue
