Pool Nation
no one online?
I just tried to search for an online game but there was none to be found, including all game types. No one is playing online?

have implemented spectating while waiting

My apologies. I meant the ability to practice a game when you are waiting for someone to join the lobby.

Oh, ok fine. This is all I do really. I create a lobby....practice the hell out...ALONE for about 30 minutes, then get bored to death and leave. Honestly, this is the way is goes day after day.

The game is dead.
So stop being so damn antisocial and whiney and get yourself some friends. I have to decline several invites to play Pool Nation every day because there are just too many.

I got other games to play! Plus I bought Pool Nation for my friend the other week and we played the crap out of it for about 30 hours over 3-4 days, I needed a break.
I think this would have much more success if it were like the good old pool days on Yahoo Pool. If anyone remembers those.

You had various lobbies you could join and chat with other people in that lobby to make a match or just chit chat. You could also see who is playing who and join that match to spectate.

You could also see who you played your last 10 games i think with a win or lose mark.

This was only a java webgame and it was VERY successful with about 1000 people online at ALL times. If i remember correct you had about 50 lobbies to choose from.

This is how it should work. It worked perfectly.

I believe there were also weekly tournaments with cash to win.

Brad, i am willing to help or give more idea's to make this game more successful if you let me. It really needs more attention as it is a decent game but it has the premise to become a great game after making a few changes.

There is still a list of all the rooms that were available back then.

http://www.backdoors.to/yahoo/pool/

And on this page you can see a few screenshots of how it looked back in the day.

https://games.yahoo.com/help/rules/pl&ss=1

They were all populated with dozens of players. Unfortunatly, when you try to enter a room, it says they were closed 15 years ago :(

I can't believe its that long. I possibly played about 5000 matches on it over several years.
