Marib: Missing Toilet Key

Does anyone else have the following issue: At somepoint the toilet key in Marib has disappeared? I do not have all the necessary items to continue the game but the key is gone.

I know you cannot leave the establishment without putting the key back on the bar - are you sure it is not there?

Unfortunately yes, I shared my saved game document with a friend and he loaded the game and he was not able to find the key anymore.

Ahh that's annoying then :( Something must have caused an error.
Also thinking about it, you can actually leave the bar with the key - I remember showing it to Peal now and her comment made me laugh.

I can't help you then i'm sorry but if you cannot get around it i'll happily share a save near that point if you like

I had the same problem on the ps5. I found nothing about it. I think if you talk to ultar and gave ultar the 50 dollars and came back to the bar the key disappears.
I hope you saved in marib syria.

Yes encountered this bug myself recently. The key can disappear sometimes but I'm not sure what triggers it. I tried to reproduce it by loading an older save but couldn't.

So basically I was soft locked because I still hadn't opened the dispenser in the toilet.

Apparently this has been fixed with Update #1.

I encountered this bug too and I'm on updated version :(

I restarted the game, for the pleasure of finishing it, and I returned to Syria… meanwhile, the bug was fixed in update #2.
