is there any way of getting money other than grinding for hours with those mini games? i eman i need 2k and after most missions i barely have 100. any help would be nice thanks

having the same issue ( i think there may be a "reward" late in the game to solve this issue, i dont see the dev overlooking such an obvious problem

not sure i hope there is but at one point when you go to the shop you see one of the nightclub bodyguards and he was buying something fo 1200 and said something like "1200 for this? you know how many minigames i have to play to get it"

Get 1200..? That's, as they say, "a piece of piss". When I played this around 4-5 years ago it wasn't hard with the mini-games at all. I used to played rock-paper-scissors and saved the game each time I won, and it didn't take to long to win a huge amount of money either, to get what was needed. Also get a job too, if you haven't done so already and by the sounds of it you haven't? If not then do this by talking to Linda, and work for her, and when prompted talk to Bob and work for him, also you can then get a job working for Caroline and earn money that way too. All of these are trigger events too.

With Caroline you can only work for a short time, after that you can't work anymore.
Same thing with Bob.
It's true that there are mini games, but it takes a long time to get to that amount. In my opinion it should lower the amount or give the opportunity to earn.

They were asking about getting money, so I simply pointed out the other options.
But I do agree that it's a grind earning money in this game, that was always one of the big complaints/issues with it back then, and it seems like it still is to this day as well.
There was a hack a number of years ago to increase your money, and advance your level in the game, but that caused issues too, getting a higher level without completing the ingame quest caused problems galore, as people simply wanted to shortcut the game to get to the rumpy-pumpy parts, and to also cut out the constant blue-balling that was prevalent in the game... namely with Linda's storyline.
However if there's now a hack that works with the game to get extra cash I don't know.
In the past the hack would only work on certain "episodes/updates" as the game was changed each time it was updated, and the hack would cause issues with the game later on, it would basically break the game if you tried to use it with previous versions due to the way the game worked with the story-line.

I agree that the money you get from mini games on computer should be a lot more, or the amount needed to complete missions should be lower. Grinding for over an hour just to get that money is fastidious. Playing Rock-Paper-Scissors for over an hour..? ouch...

the fastest way to earn money is probably keeping selecting "Scissors" in the mini game, because it has the highest probability to win the mini game.

There's a save editor (a quick web search will find it for you) to just add money to your save but having to do that so you don't waste hours of your time isn't the best design decision.

Play the games on your PC in the bedroom, or hunt around the house for money (by the TV, in Linda's bedroom, etc). Rock, paper, scissors is your best bet. Save before you start it, and every time you win/draw save again. It won't take long to get the money you need.
