Probably because the Dev doesn't know how to implement the "Name Each Character/Define the relationships in-game" options. Other incest games on Steam have those or don't even need it.

Of course, there are still some AVNs on Steam that require a patch. Which, I do plan to avoid. If I buy a product, I want the full package, not a half/censored one.

We shouldn't have to go elsewhere for a patch. Also, this Dev isn't that trustworthy.

An option to restore the original family relations via settings menu is the way to go for this type of games IMO. Downloading a patch from external webpages each time a "landlady" game gets released it's getting old. Great game btw.

edit: I have yet to download the game from Steam, so I did not test if this version is "censored" or not.

the reasion why they do that is to follow the rules patreon witch does not allow it or they get banned so thats why games do that

don't know why you would need a patch just to change the names/relations. When you see landlady, just know in your head it's actually mom, and friends/roomates know in your head that they are actually sisters. people these days have no imagination whatsoever

Yeah, I know, but it's annoying nevertheless. Steam doesn't have that restriction, so they can release it as intended originally here.

Not really as Patreon is even that big of a ♥♥♥♥♥ to check steam releases and if they patched in the original incest they would still ban them from their platform. Yeah Patreon is hell of stupid that way and sadly these devs live on subscriptions and way to long developement times to risk getting banned from that scam platform.

And on the note of patches easy to find, yeah but all those patches seems to only work on the older released dialog as there still is plenty dialog left that uses landlady. Meaning that the dev at some point did start to use other pointers in the translation text just to throw off the patch.
