Seems like an odd choice, but someone suggested they probably did it intentionally to avoid possible "cheating" in 1CC playthroughs by quitting the game and restarting from the checkpoint, which makes sense, but I wish they'd clarified it somewhere.
why do this crap.
It's like an IQ test, lol...some people passed it, some people didn't.
IQ test, because the game never tells you how to actually save progress.
right.
You have to find out by yourself. Some people managed to do it...some people didn't, lol. Anyway, it's not the end of the world, eventually most people understood how it works.
Interesting instead that less than 50% of players managed to get to the 2nd level...
it is a tough game, especially if you're not used to platformers.
i can't say i performed well in the old ninja gaiden games, nor did i have high scores in metal slug, but i like those side scroller / platformer games, and this one in particular i really really like.
Oh yes, it's definitely a tough game, but if more than 50% of people aren't able to finish even the first stage, that means a lot of them give up too soon.
it's just not for everyone i guess?
I wonder what were they expecting, though? A walk in the park?
It's a remake of a NES game, I was sure it was going to be hard, even though I didn't play the original game.
not everyone gets thoroughly informed on a new release.
i knew what i was getting into, but not everyone does.
Mmmm, if I Remember well they said in the trailer it was a remake of a nes classic...that means they didn't even see the trailer??
Anyway, It's also possible some people haven't started the game, yet.
It's my only qualm with the game. It's perfect otherwise.
One time I lost 2 hours of gameplay in a game because of a stupid bug, and I could have lost more, up to 9 hours, if I didn't save manually. What should have I done? Whining about it is pretty useless.
people are pointing out an issue, which is an issue.
you're the one deflecting here for no reason.
the complaint about saving the game is valid, not everyone has unlimited time on their hands.
