Shadow step

Can someone explain to me what shadow step is supposed to do? It looked like a dodge but it doesn't go through enemies. I tried to pass through an enemy and I just take damage. Please explain to me the purpose of this move.

It's a dodge with no i-frames. You can avoid enemy attacks with it as the player moves from point A to point B faster when used. It comes in very handy on some Boss fights.

It's just a dash. Gets you to move faster. I don't know why you expect to be invisible and go through enemies.

"I wonder what this move that makes you dash in a direction far quicker than your run speed does" you can't even beat the bird guy boss on level 5 without the shadow step lol

it doesn't cancel, go through enemies, no iframes and it doesn't launch you into jumps...
Bout the most basic dash you could have in a games especially since you can't air dash.

Maybe because it's a game about Ninjas and everyone compares the difficulty to try hard souls that has iframes...

I never "sucked the game off".
In fact, I created a thread here (the only one) complaining about how the "jump" button drops you down instead of pulling you up.
Instantly, I've attracted some loser fanboys, telling me I have to adapt to shoddy gamedesign.
So far, I've had not one single good thing to say about the game... other than that it looks good and sounds good.
But the gameplay... urgh...
