How to report a bug.
Hello everybody.

If you encounter bugs while playing Aquanox: Deep Descent please follow these steps:

1. If you are experiencing crashes a prompt should appear, asking you if information about the crash can be forwarded. Please confirm this prompt by clicking OK - this information is vital to address any crashes.

2. Ensure that all your files and drivers are up-to-date (see below for further information)

3. If you still encounter the bug, please report the issue here (English or German):

Remember to include the version number that you can find it in the main menu.

4. Fill out the form and in the description field include information about the steps you took in order to encounter the bug

5. Add the following attachments:
Screenshot of the bug (or if you have: a video)
Screenshot of your location on the map
DxDiag (Win7 or newer: Start > Run > Enter "DxDiag" and click "Ok" > On the "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" window" click on "Save All Information" > attach the created file to the bug)
Save games which are located here: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\ANX\Saved\SaveGames\

How to ensure that all your files and drivers are up-to-date:
1. Verify files on steam.

2. Update GPU and Windows drivers.

AMD - https://www.amd.com/en/support
Windows Update - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027667/windows-10-update

3. Restart steam.

4. Restart your computer.

Das Spiel bleibt bei mir wie es ist es macht trotz eingabe des KSALPHABACKER Key´s kein Update. In der Email Steht das ich es ab heute um 19 Uhr spielen kann.

Have you tried restarting steam and make sure you are out of any test branches

there looks to be a key binding prob with the Hint screen asking me to press the middle mouse button but this is not working
no key is working

the prob with the hint screen is the hard coded to the E key if you change the key the game stops at the next hint screen
not all players use the wasda keys

Selek - are you saying that you rebinded the "Interaction" key (Default "E") that you use to close a Hint? That seems to be an issue. Would be great if you could use the link in the first post to report this with some sort of a screenshot so we can get this fixed! Thank you!

Good morning. After todays game update via steam, all save games seams to be damaged (if game does not crash, you will start in ocean without ground and ammo).
Is this a known result / fault? What I have done: restart steam / checked for driver updates.

UPDATE: Starting a new game solved this Problem, but old save points are lost.

Update? we didn't launch an update today, that has to be on valve's side, will look into this asap.

but i have to report critical bug - Korea font borken in the dialogue.

I bougth the game now and want to play but I'm a little bit confused. It seems that there is no support for joysticks. Is that right? That does not make sense.

Got the game on epic, not here. Well, since I went to that pirate area after heartbrak ridge, the game keeps crashing in combat. Wasted a good hour trying to recover my progression, only to crash AGAIN. And then again.

I can excuse uninteretsing characters and bland storytelling in a shooter, when the technical aspects are rock-solid. But a shooter that keeps crashing in combat ? Hell no. And of course, my drivers are up to date and my rig is perfectly capable of running it (Ryzen 5 2600X, 16 GB of RAM, RX 2060 super, everything installed on an SSD, great cooling, no overclock, and the chair / keyboard interface is a trained IT tech).

At least, if that game is going to crash like s**t, please make it so from the first area, so people can request a refund in time, thank you very much.

Seit gegrüsst. Ich bekomme beim starten des Spieles immer diesen Fehler:

You do not have any debugging symbols required to display the callstack for this crash.

Gibt es dafür schon eine Lösung?
(Habe schon alles möglich ausprobiert, ich weis nicht mehr weiter)

Könnte es sein das mein System nicht kompatibel ist?
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz
16,0 GB RAM, 64-Bit-Betriebssystem, Windows 10, DirectX 12
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti

If you write in English it's more likely you get a reply. According to your error message looks more like an Epic account issue, hence you should contact Epic support instead.

Also, this game is a bugfest and all patching has been abandonned. I love the setting, but the game crashed so much that I had to restart the same mission 5 times. Got it refunded.
