I guess it is almost the time to also install hf patch for honeycome
They have one out as of a few days ago. You can move your characters over.
I cannot understand japanese. gonna need an english version
They're releasing english versions on dlsite. It looks to me like they're dropping steam. They released HoneyCome but not their most recent on steam.
at least i don't need to learn how to install official patch again anymore
A little secret, too: the DRM for dlsite doesn't work on linux, so there's a way to bypass it and install the game, in case you're worried about the serial keys "running dry" or something in the future.
ah youre the goat i was coming here to literally ask this question. i heard they're working on a VR patch for honeycomb too
Yeah, but they changed company names. I imagine they had some kind of issue supporting the constant online services that they were trying to use. The services were free, but they couldn't keep them running for "foreign customers" and i imagine even the local ones were a problem for them. The new games do not appear to use online shops and stuff like the older games. It would seem that that was the problem.
Now, how they got out of the online support and all that by changing names, i'm not sure: i imagine it has something to do with them changing owners after r filingg bankruptcy or something like that. A bunch of people try to imply it was nefarious, to get people to panic buy their games when they "actually didn't shut down" (their older games are no longer on sale on japanese stores, so i'm curious where the money goes when people buy the ones still on steam, but people seem to think that because they're still on steam it was just a marketing ploy), but if anything it was to get out of having their online stuff that clearly they couldn't maintain (i imagine they had some copyright issues, too, with user-created content being among the uploads).
Do you know what the new game is called?

the VR update for honeycomb on the JP site explicitly states it CANNOT be used for the steam version...
