I am sooo happy this game is coming out lol i pre-ordered it on dlsite so i can get my bonus!! BUUUT anyone else excited for this game???

pretty bad and a rush release.

- limited character customization, lacks of outfit and accessory
- free roam is a lie, you basically can only move around in the lobby hall, you can't go to any other places, it's useless.
- severely lack of H positions
- girls only have two states, tired and submission while HS2 had 10
- game performance is good

basically a dumb down HS2 with anime graphics, even if this is moddable i doubt it makes the gameplay any better

After I tested beta version, yeah I like this game but if Steam version doesn't support MOD (Sideloader, NEO Studio, Bepinx and more) I will skip Steam version and buy from official website in Fanza store.
The character creation features, graphics details (Shadow, reflection, texture, depth of field) much better then Koikatsu. But if want stuff like Koikatsu is will be disappointed because this new game, need waiting a month modders work in this game.

Now on Fanza store available official release, Steam delay one week then iLL Games.JP official website

I don't care about story, but open world look interested for me and unlimited pose or animation creation with photo mode it's will be good games. Like MOD studio NEO, without that this game will be empty.

You may want to temper your expectations. Chances are modding will take longer than that to catch up, if it ever will.

Maybe people will try to dig into IL2PP further than they did on RoomGirl? I mean, I didn't dislike RoomGirl (I liked the limited "dating system" although it wasn't as good as AA2 or even Koikatsu) but a ton of people seemed to just hate that game on principle.

Oh I'm very aware that they're following a pattern, been on this threadmill since about 2005, so very well aware of the Illusion Cycle. But base game contents is usually more than this. Koikatsu and HoneySelect2 base game feels like full AAA releases content wise in comparison.

To be fair, Illusion had been delivering less and less in their full releases for a while now. KKS took a while to get to the level of KK for example and RoomGirl was very limited on release (and still is) with fewer positions than HS2, and even group sex was inexistent until the Paradise expansion.

Many old fans keep seething at every Illusion games that aren't AA2 and, while I do understand the point, I think by now they should realize that this AA3 isn't going to happen, sadly.

Well, the art direction in RoomGirl was very dividing, yes. I wouldn't say a lot of people hated it on principle though.

The problem with IL2CPP is that it requires a major mapping undertaing, actually mapping out what can be hooked onto to do what, and Illusion may at any point totally screw it up with an update, forcing everything back to square 1. That is a lot to ask of the modding community, when a round of mapping may take months.

That being said, I would expect to see some mods, just not the super advanced stuff like sideloader, BetterPenetration, UncensorSelector, MaterialEditor, SliderUnlocker, ABMX...

I buy original in Fanza, this game are empty less stuff like hair, clothes, accessories, map and free roam not like Koikatsu.
The graphics are perfect with vanilla depth of field, bloom, SSAO and more with custom setting. But this game are empty without Studio NEO, because I like art not in gameplay.
Modders make Koikatsu perfect, without modders this game just adult game not creation unlimited.
Not worth it to buy no, winter 2023 this game will be better with many mod.

Then it isn't worth to buy for you, because it is guaranteed to get way less mods than Koikatsu, and definitely it won't be seeing massive changing mods within a month. It won't see them within the first year of release, because it doesn't use the same rendering techniques as Koikatsu, making modding extremelly hard.

Room Girl's great breakthrough after almost a year of release has been a couple of changes to made you able to move to other areas with the same character and clothes, you are never going to see head mods or any of the other crazy stuff you see in HS2 and Shoujo AI, which is why the other guy said to temper your expectations.

It will have mods, but nothing beyond basic stuff.

Yup, asset modding isn't too bad, just some messing about with unity3d files, but that's not really the important stuff imo... Disregarding the whole hardmod stuff, which makes modding a minefield again
