To those who think the game is overpriced
Get a job! It's no wonder you guys complain.
Just play those pre-rendered games that are cheaper than this impressive game. It's the only game with amazing customization compared to your cheap enitire steam library!
or buy it directly from the official site, like I did on DLsite it's easier and cheaper dont know about the other site since i never use it, dlsite accept my card so never buy this on steam, there are also official patch on the official site, if steam didnt get update

I have a job and a good one and I believe this game is overpriced for what you are getting. I ended up getting it and refunding it. I think Koikatsu Party is better and recommend that more.

Irony and stupidity as well? Great job mate, great job.
ArcticuKitsu Sep 11, 2023 @ 5:07pm
I agree with the "getting a job" bit, yet have to make note that a disclaimer should have been used.

1) North America and Europeans are being forced onto the streets, into tent cities, and even living in vans. (View Canadians living in tent cities and a nurse who lives in a van. Google it). Even though there are people gaslighting and denying, there is a bigger scheme in place causing people to be poorer than they should be. Artificial poverty.

2) Food and cost of living has gone up for all the wrong reasons, and artifically so. All for fake governmental nonsense.

3) Budgeting (this one is on my end) caused me to miss out on Playclub (Or was it PlayRoom?; The last game) to which I can't obtain it legally anywhere. The "wants" & "needs". Again, I was going to get it, and I genuinely desired it, I however missed out on it. Shame.

The world is in more of a mess. Yes, I have a decent job, yet everything is a mess in Canada (and the world). Yes, I can buy the game any time, food is however FAR more important. Now, if this game was $50 Canadian (not $90) it be more tempting. I would obtain it sooner IF the price was more "reasonable". Any illusion game (past and present). And yes, DLSite is indeed key.

Content vs Price.

Is the Content, worth the asking price? To me, I say no. Koikatu Party was definitely worth the asking price, and so I bought it. Koikatu Party has dating, eating lunch together, with companion, working out together, studying together, conversation, sleeping together, sex simulation, character creator, etc.

What does this game have exactly? I'll tell you. Character Creator, Sex simulator, minor conversation, and a minor story. I mean, it's barebones for the asking price. Even the lowest quality AAA game has more content than this game for the price, and the price point is exactly the same.

I mean, I won't knock your choices if you choose to buy this game OP, but it is definitely asking for a lot for content that it actually offers imo.

This game is not impressive and is severely overpriced, all the illusion/illgames does is copy paste same thing with a diffrent reskin and minimal effort, if you think this game is impressive you either 12, mentally handicapped or you never played a good game in your life.

You summed it up nicely, and basically what I tried saying. Thanks.

There is this. Basically "needs" vs "wants" type things in relation to content vs price. Is it worth it? yes, and no. You end up holding back because the price feels overly bloated, especially in these poor economical times. It's more tempting to play games lower in the pricing scale, such as $10-$50 Canadian price bracket range.

It then becomes a competition on which game tugs at you more with their risks vs rewards. What game is more worthwhile to you?

No prob.

In terms of worthwhile AO games to me, I'll keep it limited to 5:
- War and Roses. A bit buggy and one of the agents never gets content, but it has a lot of content for a $15 or $20 game, can't remember the price. Dating, First person shooter, animated sex scenes.
- Memoirs of a Battle Brothel. Excellent rpg for a RPGM game, animated sex scenes. some interactivity. Overall worth the $20 price.
- Metro Sim Hustle. Not much sexual content, but it's animated. This game's strong suit lies in it's simulation elements. Eat, drink, sleep, drugs, fight in underground arena for money, arcade games, smoking, gambling, alcohol consumption, shower, cooking. heck you can even microwave food and use a coffee machine. Definitely worth the $15 price, if you want a more adult themed sim.
- Koikatu Party. Excellent Illusion game with a lot more going on than the usual create character and sexual simulator.
- Club Lust Down & Dirty. Pretty much plays like a mobile game, but it isn't. You run a strip club, and have your workers dance and serve customers drinks and food. Decent story, animated sex scenes, and relationship builder. Can't remember the price, but it's pretty low; under $10 I think.

In terms of AA and AAA games; pretty long list, but I'll keep it limited to 5:
- GTA games and GTA Online.
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Skyrim
- Terminator Resistance
- Fallout New Vegas

To me, those games feel like I get a lot of content for the asking price. Most of the adult games aren't even over $20 at that. To each their own of course. I'm not looking to knock this game, as it's excellent for what it is, but I do simply feel that it's overpriced for what the buyer is getting in return.

if we compare to starfield, then maybe if they add 1000 locations to have s*x in, then it would be fair

Sure, so what makes you say that this game is worth $70? I mean, I can afford it, as you can probably see from the "owns game" thingy by my name... wouldn't say it was worth it, as you can see from my play time and me already mostly being over the game.

What in this game actually is so significant that it commands a $70 pricepoint? The copy paste sex scenes? the copy paste from HS2 "game" (read: menu dressed up as a game)? The Character Customization feature which is a slightly evolved Koikatsu/HS2 character creator?

I'm already back, and feeling good, with Koikatsu Sunshine, which to be fair, was a expensive purchase, far more than it was worth, with the base game plus expansion being at about $100, but the modding capability made up the shortfall at least.

Going to disregard that comment. There are actual people to blame, the alleged Republicans are the least of the problems. The name starts with a B and ends with n.

For Canada it be T & U.

Still need to reply to Zero. Shall do that shortly.

Of course you're going to give me a clown award, go touch grass. You have people going homeless, yet you're more worried about your hurt feelings. I guess I have to say "thanks for the points"? Sure, thanks for the points.

But yeah, I came here to reply to Zero, not play with toddlers. Kept being too sleepy, overworked, etc to respond to them. Let's get it out of the way now. (Also KanColle to blame) :ALdrinkemoji:

I have it, and I had my fair time with it. Haven't dipped into the lewd stuff, though desired to have done so via the Steam Deck. It freezes on loading. I'll probably try again later on my Steam Deck again with various Proton versions experimentations. The FPS stuff was interesting.

- Memoirs of a Battle Brothel. Excellent rpg for a RPGM game, animated sex scenes. some interactivity. Overall worth the $20 price.

Noted, but not my thing.

This seems similar to a Russian indie game I've played before, just in 3D, not old-school visual novel text-based thing with images. Noted.

- Koikatu Party. Excellent Illusion game with a lot more going on than the usual create character and sexual simulator.

Curious how I fiddled with it, just not in detail. Need to regain this. I've played Artificial Academy, Artificial Girl, and even the sequel to Academy. Haremate, among others. I almost tried every Illusion game. Maybe I really should seek out Koikatsu Party, though saddened I can't do it via DLSite anymore. I took too long.

Fair. When the time is right I shall obtain this game, and others. Now isn't the time, even less so when I'm plotting & planning my trip to Japan. Everything has to be a bargain ($20~ CAD, or so). With how corrupted everything is everything is far more needlessly difficult.

On a side-note:

While seeking out lewd games & mods for games I came across some hidden gems of indie games. They need looking into and support.

- Roshutsu
Basically exposing yourself in public with various game modes. Story allows you do things on a whim, while scenarios & challenges are based on finding keys and clothing to return back home. It has a demo, Patreon has been canceled, yet the developer shows interests of rebooting (updating) the game. Jaguar (the dev) is stuck between a 2D & 3D Concept.

- Secret Flasher
Style isn't in my taste, yet the concept is up a neat area. The clothing is too crude while the concept itself is decent. Haven't played it, just noting it for others to check out.

- Harem Hotel:
Sharing it, yet haven't played it. Numerous girls to play with. Saw it on Itch.io thanks to Roshutsu.

- Naked Risk 3D:
Seems just as good as Roshutsu, sadly more resource intensive. Fails to ruin smoothly on my Steam Deck making it less desirable than Roshutsu. Concept is the same with having to stealth your way back home. (Free demo on itch.io).

-----

Highlight of this is Roshutsu, I hope more is done with it. Seeing Illgames tapping into that market could do wonders for their market share, or even revisiting Artifical Girl & Academy for a more lived-in world vibes. I'll take you up on Koikatsu Party. I'll look into it more (again).

I love how I triggered a weirdo.

Look, you can't live in your fantasy world 24/7, you need to go out and touch grass. Go have fun with Koikatsu Party, as was suggested by Zero, and others. Maybe even Roshutsu..... Need to re-clarify Roshutsu has both a 2D and 3D variation, something which would do well in a game like this, or even future Illgames titles. May not be currently released, though may release sometimes in the 2024 timeframe.

Just wanted to note I'm well aware Liberals and Conservatives, or even Democrats and Republicans is all a farce. It's all a farce, and we're all pawns in this stupid game. I mean, you're proving my point with all these reddit clown awards.

Here, this is for you, the clown-giver ;)

The little pawn that you desire to be. Now then, I guess I'm done here. Back to my Japanese trip I've been to while planning my next one. I'll be keeping an eye out on a Christmas sale for these sorts of games again :ALdrinkemoji:
