Mac: Dofus Missing Executable

I've just installed Dofus on my Mac, and cannot start the game through the Steam interface.
When I try, I only receive the "Missing Executable" error message.
I am able to start the update process by navigating to the game's local content, but I am unable to begin the game using my Steam login.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

I don't think Dofus on Steam is available on mac (yet?).

I believe it will come to mac (hopefully,) because they made wakfu for mac.

I've been looking online, there isn't any other (easily found) information about a future release date for mac.
I've found plenty of others with the same issue, and some others who have a language issue with Dofus/Mac.

It seems that the Mac version should be 100% working, perhaps if Steam were not involved.

I have yet to try it without Steam on my mac yet.

At the moment, we don't know when we will be able to offer compatibility with Steam for Macs. Wakfu and Dofus run on two different engines, and basically, to make Dofus on Steam compatible on Macs, we have to create some specialized libraries from scratch. For a multitude of reasons, we're lacking in resources to make that happen at the moment. It is something that we would be interested in doing in the future, but we have no ETA for it right now.

However, the game is completely Mac compatible (although not Steam-compatible) when downloaded directly from our site: www.dofus.com

this is still a problem, two years later! Why isnt the Mac version avalible on steam? Its there on ankama website :P
