"NASCAR '14 has encountered a fatal error and has to shut down" In season mode...

I have been having the above error appear during practice for the "Shootout" aka Sprint Unlimited in season mode. I get half way around a timed lap of Daytona and suddenly the game crashes and the above error message appears. However, the error does not appear during practice at Daytona (being the track of choice) in "Race Now" mode. Wondering if anyone has a fix or has also encountered the problem. Many thanks in advance for replies.

My settings are almost as they are when initially installing the game, apart from my AA settings (changed to MSAAx4 and FXAA: on)

I have the same problem. They say turning off phyx particles+60 FPS no vsync should fix it but It didn't for me. Doesn't hurt to try for you I guess though.

I have had it happen 4 times now trying to finish the first career race at Daytona. The pits seem to trigger it, for me at least. I tried the above suggestion, and it is still happening.

got it also randomly if you enter the pits during race in season

I have the same problem in the same Game Mode. And i create a paint for Career Mode. This paint i cannot save again (fatal error). In Career Mode the Car is black. ETX PLEASE PATCH THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT´S UNPLAYABLE.

Sorry guys but easy fix, just back off the res. It will fix it. your just pushing the game too hard

This could happens if you have 60FPS enabled on graphic options, while your PC is not able to allow them. Try to reduce to 30FPS.
