Yeah, getting a different crash, but a crash all the same, here. Loads to the main menu fine, and setting a resolution works fine (test goes okay too, but setup forgets that I've tested a resolution every time), but when I click skirmish or try to start a campaign (or tutorial) it crashes to the desktop.

Tried every compatibility mode, tried running as admin, tried the 1.2 patch, tried the XP 'patch' (which is just the setup program that's already installed via Steam, but I tried it anyway). Tried multiple lower resolutions, tried OpenGL mode.

After looking around via Google, it seems this game might not be compatible with Windows 7 (and probably not compatible with Vista as well). Hard to say for sure though, this is a fairly obscure title so there's not a lot of stuff on it.

Eh. At least it was only $2.50.

Yes it crash when you click in the menu, it is only $2.5 but why steam waste my time in game that don't work in Windows 7 they should say in system requirement that it don't work with win7

Add the game's executable to the exception list for Data Execution Prevention (Control Panel --> System --> Advanced System Properties --> Performance Settings), and it should run.

Does anybody know how to fix the keyboard input reading? The game has a hard time reading any of my key presses, such if I want to use a cheat I hit enter and the command bar pops up like normal, but I have to tap a single letter dozens of times before the game finally detects the input. Is there any way to fix this?
