Adware?

I heard this game contained adware. Is there a safe way to idle it for the cards though without getting the adware?

There's a script that launches a browser add for Raven's Cry when the game starts, but this can be easily deleted.

Nope, it was just a URL that opens a Steam Store page. Nothing past that.

I just checked, and it looks like this script might have been removed a while back. So this may no longer be an issue either?

adware is not a virus or trojan. It's adware :). Harmless unless it starts visiting sites with malware and you get tons of viruses and trojans downloaded w/o your wish.

absolutly no adware and this game is very underrated..when it was released had a very good graphic and i loved the 2 campaign and many character and weapon u can use..expecially archery system is superb..u can shot 1 to 10 arrow in a row, change ammo type, even with u can snipe with the correct arrow..

I know it has no adware or stuff. Yes it's very underrated game and to even now days I still like it.

The reviews talking about adware have completely put me off buying this game.

Topware seem to have someone very foolish in their sales & marketing dept who continuously signs of on intrusive and benighted DRMs and registration requirements etc and now adware too. This person is losing Topware a lot of potential customers.
They lost a lot of sales on TW2 due to intrusive and silly stuff like this.
Just read the reviews...many are not about the game...but about the registration and DRM

So did they remove the adware or not? This looks like Blade of Darkness and i love that game. I actually played Enclave a fair bit when i was younger, but i can't remember much of it. If there is no adware, i will get it for sure.

No ads, no DRM, no registration. Don't believe everything that you read. Some people have ulterior motives for what they say. The game is worth way more than they are charging for it. Grab it while you can.
