Game won't start. Please help.

I click on the game to start it but nothing happens. I then hit ctrl alt dlt to open my task manager and see enclave in the processes menu(not the applications menu like I'd expect) taking up very little memory and CPU power. It's like the startup program is in some kind of loop. Anyone got a fix for this?

the game wont even try to start for me it goes to black screen then minimizes to the task bar and wont run

i have tried verifying through steem and its fine
i also tried changing the screen rez in the environment.cfg file to one i know my pc likes but still same problem

my specs:
3.2 ghz AMD quad core
win 7 64
Radion HD 5800 1 gig
8 gigs of ram

make sure you have direct x 9c installed. If that don't work, configure your game to use only one of your 4 processors. If that don't work, configure the game to use open GL.

thanks but that dosnt help i cant access the game menu and i tryed reinstalling dx9 and even tryed redownloading the game but it still wont start

its only $1 but im still a bit pissed

I just use a step as simple as using my Integrated Graphics Card instead o my High Performing Card because I couldnt even launch the game, Now it works just great!

i figured it out i set my desktop rez to 1024x768 and the game launched fine then in game you can adjust the rez to you liking and reset desk top after thats done and it works now
