Hotfix 0.0127

Changes and Improvements:

* You can now plot a route on the PDA map using markers. A marker can be placed or removed by clicking on it on the PDA map.
* Adjusted physics on the "Underground Collector" level.
* Fixed an issue where the quest marker for "Find the Artifact" would not be removed from the PDA after completing the quest and continued to display on the map as the search location.
* Improved the leaderboard.
* A folder that was not related to the game, used only for the developer’s build and containing game backup data, has been removed from the project. It’s hard to call myself a noob :) but huge thanks to users Clu and NikZ, who pointed out this oversight. As a result, the installed game size has decreased by 1.5 GB.

Changes and Improvements:

🔸 The footstep system has been completely reworked: it now responds to whether you are running, walking, or sneaking.
🔸 All walking sounds have been completely changed. Previously, you walked like an ordinary civilian; now you're a badass stalker 🙂
🔸 A bug that could prevent completing a quest line has been fixed.
🔸 The left-hand pose for the AK-74 has been corrected.A bug with the
🔸 "Migraine" artifact has been fixed. Previously, after being activated by the detector and placed in the backpack, it could become invisible again. This has now been corrected.
🔸 Corrections have been made to the tutorial mission in connection with the addition of the ability to place more than one marker on the map in the PDA.
🔸 In the tutorial mission, the detector has been moved from the drawer to the table. Based on the videos I’ve watched, no one was opening the drawer—everyone's too lazy :). So now it’s on the table 🙂

Changes and Improvements:

🔸 The footstep system has been refined. Tests revealed incorrect footstep sounds during sneaking, walking, and running. Now everything works flawlessly, and you'll notice the difference right away!
🔸 New random encounter variants have been added to the Pripyat location.
🔸 The task description in the industrial zone, where you need to disable the relay on the radio tower, has been adjusted. Previously, many players didn’t understand what needed to be done, but now the instructions are clearer.
🔸 Some tasks now also offer monetary rewards upon completion.
🔸 The hunger system has been rebalanced. At the "Free Stalkers" base, hunger remains minimal. Night locations require more energy, so hunger has a significantly stronger impact there.
🔸 The millionaire bug has been fixed. I won’t go into details about how it manifested, but it allowed players to earn too much money :) Thanks to those who reported this bug.
🔸 Minor tweaks have been made to the quest system.


Work is also underway on new locations and quests that will be added in the next update.

Update 0.0130

New Features:

Added a new chain of story quests.
Added a new location: "Swamp."
Added a new location: "Outpost."
Added a new location: "Shelter."
Added a new achievement: "Light of Knowledge."
Mines have been added to the game, currently found in the "Swamp" location, so watch your step.

Changes and Improvements:

The PDA has been improved: there should no longer be accidental presses when the PDA is hidden or when you take it out. Previously, settings could get reset or tabs could switch unintentionally.
Fixed a bug with the display of quests in the PDA, where the text of active tasks would shift slightly to the left or become completely invisible.
Fixed a bug in the "Pripyat" level with the "Mica" artifact, where it would disappear after being picked up and saved.
The detection range of enemy NPCs on the map has been reduced to make encounters more unexpected. It was previously 120 meters; now it’s 40.
The detection range of the Dark Ones and Guards on the map has been reduced to make encounters more unexpected. It was previously 50 meters; now it’s 30.
The backpack has been slightly improved, specifically the aspect when you place it on your back. The return zone in the shoulder joint has been increased from 0.3 to 0.35, which should solve the problem where, on headsets like Quest and Pico, the backpack would sometimes end up on your head.
Minor fixes and improvements across various levels.

Changes and Improvements:

Fixed a bug where bullets were displayed in an empty magazine. This should be fully resolved now. The previous fix only partially addressed the issue.
Fixed a bug in the "Swamp" level where the enemy faction couldn't attack the player.
Now, in the quest description in the PDA, if the next quest branch is locked and awaiting a game update, it will display: "Coming soon in the update."

New Features:

* Added the ability to crouch. To crouch, press the B button on the right controller. Attention: now you can only check item or weapon information using the left controller by pressing the B or Y button, depending on your controllers.
* By popular request, a teleport movement mode has been added. It can be activated both in the main menu and in the PDA during the game.

Changes and Improvements:

* Improved the AI of factions.
* At your request, mines now make a sound, helping you recognize when you are near them. Previously, they could only be detected visually.
* Fixed a bug on the "Outpost" level where it was impossible to open lockers.
* Fixed a bug where the hand would get stuck in doors or lockers, sometimes causing the hand and door to disappear. This should no longer happen.
* Made a minor rebalancing of the AK-74: reduced its sway in the hands, but the weapon still maintains its real-world weight distribution.
* On the HE503R-GD red dot sight, the intensity of the red lens light has been reduced, as requested in one of the reviews.
* Now, item information can only be checked using the left controller.
* Major optimization has been done across all levels, which should positively impact game stability.
* The quest system has been improved.
* Some anomalies have been enhanced.

Changes and improvements:

🔸 Restored the ability to view item information with either the left or right hand by pressing the B or Y button, depending on the controllers.
🔸 The crouch mode has been reassigned to the joystick press on the hand that controls turning. Based on quick feedback, this seems more appropriate. Adjusted for left- and right-handed control schemes.
🔸 The teleport system has been adapted for left- and right-handed players.
🔸 In left-handed mode, a proper transition to sprint has been added. Now, just like in right-handed mode, when moving forward, you press the joystick and start running.
🔸 Fixed an issue with raids related to loot generation.

Changes and Improvements:

🔸 Fixed an issue when purchasing artifacts on the "Black Market": previously, the artifact would not activate after purchase.
🔸 Fixed an issue on the "Swamp" level where the water reacted to the bolt and triggered the damage effect.
🔸 Improved the "Black Market": sometimes purchased items could get stuck in the table.
🔸 Slightly reduced the sound radius of the activated mine.
🔸 Made additional improvements to the save system, which should help prevent the rare cases where certain items would disappear in your shelter.
🔸 Reduced the player's maximum teleport radius.
🔸 Fixed the description for detectors. Previously, it appeared by pressing the A button, unlike other items, where the description was activated by pressing the B button.

New Features:

🔸 A new quest chain has been added for the AFU faction. The quest can be obtained at the Outpost from the faction commander.
🔸 Patrols can now be encountered in the raid location "Abandoned Village." This depends on your progress in the game. Those just starting out and gathering their first loot will not encounter patrols.
🔸 A seated height calibration mode has been added. It can be activated both in the main menu and through the player’s PDA.

🔸 The quest system has been improved: it is now impossible to accidentally receive a completed quest again. Additionally, for those who have already received repeat quests and are unable to cancel them, after completing the AFU quest chain, they will be fixed and canceled.

🔸 The weapon cleaning sprays WD-40 and WD-10 now have a liquid reserve. You can always refill it at the "Black Market."

🔸 The save system has been improved, which should enhance the stability of the game.
🔸 AI for factions has been fixed. Previously, there were cases where AI would stop patrolling — this issue has now been resolved.
🔸 The OSA detector has been upgraded: the effect and sound when detecting an artifact are now unique.

New Features:

🔸 By your request, auto-save has been added. The game will now automatically save at the start of each location when transitioning between areas.
🔸 A stash location "Cursed Tunnel" has been added. You can only open it if you find the PDA with coordinates. There is only one such PDA, which can be obtained through a quest. This location is the only way to reach the "Junkyard," which is currently closed.
🔸 A stash location "Forgotten Warehouse" has been added. You can only open it if you find the PDA with coordinates. There are two such PDAs on quest maps.
🔸 A stash location "Shelter 145" has been added. You can only open it if you find the PDA with coordinates. There are two such PDAs on quest maps.

New Features:

🔸 As compensation for the save issues, all players at the "Free Stalkers" base will receive a credit card. It can be exchanged for credits at the Black Market.
🔸 Phosphorescent markers have been added to automatic weapons ("AKS-74", "AK-74", "Saiga-9", "VSK-94", "AS Val") to help with aiming in the dark.
🔸 Phosphorescent markers are now also available on pistols ("Makarov Pistol", "PL-14", "Night Hawk", "Desert Eagle") for better aiming in low-light conditions.
🔸 A new loot item has been added — a credit card, which can be sold at the Black Market.

🔸 Added phosphorescent sights to the HMG machine gun and the Remington 870 rifle, which help you aim in the dark.

🔸 Slightly reworked the sights on the "AKS-74, AK-74, Saiga-9, VSK-94, AS Val, Makarov Pistol, PL-14, Night Hawk, Desert Eagle". The closer sight is now green, and the distant sight is red.

🔸 Fixed an issue that, in certain cases after the player’s death and loading a save, caused a rare error where the backpack was empty. Previously, this bug could be bypassed by fully closing the game, restarting it, and loading the desired save. Now, this should no longer happen.

🔸 A new quest has been added at the "Free Stalkers" base — find the "Freedom" stash. The quest can be obtained through the storyline after you receive the mission to clear the "Outpost."

🔸 The leaderboard has been reset. You can update your data in the leaderboard as always by selling stashes at the Black Market.
🔸 Lighting has been changed in the "Industrial Zone" location.
🔸 The volume of background music in the "Swamp" location has been slightly reduced.

🔸 Monsters of the Dark class, "capable of using protective camouflage," now have greater resistance to headshots. Not every weapon can kill them with a single shot anymore.
