They're often forgotten but Gorky Zero and Gorky Zero 2 (Re-written to be standalone with changed character names as "Aurora Watching" or "Soldier Elite" in English countries.)
are prequels, not sure how exactly good they are but they're top-down stealth games with the option for a third person camera.

Gorky 02: Aurora watching (or Soldier:Elite in America) works, at least the Gamersgate version.
I do have a physical copy of Gorky 0 that I can't get installed though.

GZ2 isn't top-down, it is 3rd person.
I played it back in the day, finished it too. Wasn't bad, but ain't nothing great, just some mid, average 3rd person stealth shooter game if you want to play something.
I played GZ too, but only training mission and a bit of the first mission. I don't remember why i didn't continued.
But yeah, sadly on newer pc it didn't work for me. I don't know if GZ2 would work on my pc tho. (kind a fine but at the same time sh**ty pc, with parts from 2009 or 2012, w7)
But yeah, i wondered why only this game up on steam and gog, why no GZ and GZ2.

Just to ask, no one has gotten Gorky Zero 1 working on Windows 8/10 yet?
