Windows 7 and Versions of the game

Hi ppl,
Need a little help here. I want to buy this game, played a very long time ago in a demo when i was a teenager:
1. Does this game run in Windows 7 X64?? i asumme that it does because i didnt find any thread complaining about it
2. I dont understand the versions, as far as im concern there is this veriosn:
Knights and Merchants
Knights and Merchants: The Peasants Rebellion
Knights and Merchants: Historical Version
Does the Historical Version is some kind of HD version that includes The Peasants Rebellion?? The Peasants Rebellion is a expansion right??

Knights and Merchants: Historical Version seems to be just Knights and Merchants: The Peasants Rebellion with a new soundtrack (nothing else seems to be changed). It is not HD

Knights and Merchants HD version is based on TSK, with slightly higher resolutions and many features removed (such as multiplayer).

So the versions are:
1. Knights and Merchants: The Shattered Kingdom (1998).
2. Knights and Merchants: The Peasants Rebellion (2001)
3. Knights and Merchants: Historical Version (same as The Peasants Rebellion)
4. Knights and Merchants: HD Version (same as The Shattered Kingdom)
5. KaM Remake (entire game rewritten from scratch by fans, available free here: http://www.kamremake.com/ but for legal reasons requires you to own The Peasents Rebellion or Historical Version to install it)

KaM Remake is the newest and supports the most features including modern resolutions, online multiplayer, replays, etc. Full disclosure: I'm one of the KaM Remake developers ;)

So, basicaly, i just purchase the game here, and download the KAM REMAKE later?? I suposee that both have fW7 suport

Yes, you download KaM Remake after purchasing the game either here on Steam or via another site like GOG if you'd prefer a DRM free copy: (although it's cheaper on Steam if it's on sale)
