https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tESAuxluOK0 this might help. just mute the music ingame and play this video
its not really a mod, its a complete remake: new campaigns, better ai, some changes in the old maps, and a multiplayer with allot of gamemodes. and it also has the original music.
Will it work with this version?
Late edit: Removed irrelevant link.
Oh, right, sorry. Are the OGG files in \hd\data\music not direct conversions of the SNG originals?
Edit: I have poor ears when it comes to this sort of thing, but "Spirit" is clearly #10.
Ah, right, apologies. I downloaded the GOG release, but no .MID files, and while I did manage to track down an ISO of the original disc, it won't install on current versions of Windows due to deprecated 16-bit support. :(
At this point, the best I can suggest is contacting TopWare and asking if they happen to have access to the files.
Edit: And the KaM Remake devs, too.
Late edit edit: I used Depot Downloader to download the original content depot as it existed prior to the 2014 "HD" update; sadly, no MIDs, just SNGs. Considering .SNG is a type of MIDI file, albeit one with numerous permutations (making conversion practically impossible unless you happen to know the particular piece of software used to create the tracks), I suspect you may be misremembering things somewhat and the game never shipped with .MID files.
Late edit edit edit: After some mucking around, I managed to successfully install TSK and TPR from their respective ISO files. Neither the disc images nor the game installation folders contained .MID files.
I want the old music!!!
