This game really needs a remaster of sorts.
Thank you.
This thread should be sticky.

I think those are the best resolutions I tested so far. It's only 16:9 that is streched.
Unfortunately, they are only available on Direct3D.
i've dioscovered the following:
Setting a 1920x1080 in dgVoodo and a non 16:9 resolution in Earth2150's setup.exe works. The wrapper forces the game to a real 1080p and the construction menu works, because the games thinks its another resolution and uses this different values to create the construction menu.
Run the game with disabled visual desktop enhancements (compatibility option) and windows xp 2 mode and everything works very vell.
But is it stretched or real widescreen without any distortions?
Moreover - the video driver control panel allows us to turn on AA, Anisotropic filtering, etc.
I have experimented with custom resolutions for 1080p on my laptop with nVidia Optimus, so the resolution and scaling control was performed by Intel HD drivers:
Maximum resolution without a crash: 1768x1080 (A bit wider than 16:10)
Maximum resolution while construction center infobox is fully readable: 1704x1080 (a bit narrower than 16:10)
The NGlide method has limited resolution support, a few graphic glitches and very hard-to-improve visuals.
In my case I heavily recommend using dgVoodoo2 instead since it's frequently more friendly with modern PCs. It's just a drag and drop installation essentially and has some extra stuff:

Holybrake is currently working on a new interface with 16:9 support so give him a break, please. So far he made a new 16:10 interface with bugfixes and it's GREAT. It's in the guide above.
The first three downloads in the list together with the fan update the moon project to version 2.2 enhance the experience. The research crash is fixed and there is no stretching.

How did I not notice this sooner? I'll try it.
Will go perfect with an update I'm working on
