How do I enable cheat codes?

Game is a little brutal sometimes. I saw the guide where you type in i_wanna_cheat then you enter the codes but when I enter it, nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

For Escape From The Blue Planet You put "i_wanna_cheat" in console and press ENTER. Though you get no feedback, cheats should be activated so from now on you can write in the console things like "armageddon" or "massacre", ENTER and it should happen. :D I guess you have entire list of the cheat codes.

In The Moon Project and Lost Souls "Cheater 1" is the activation code and there are different cheat codes than EfTBP

Hey thanks for replying! How do you get into the console? I can't seem to the the area where I can type it

I tried every combination, I hit ENTER, enter
i_wanna_cheat
but nothing happens even when I enter eagle_eye. what am I doing wrong?

I've tested it just a moment ago and cheats works in my Earth2150 EftBP game instance . By the way.. Console = Chat , opened with ENTER (or RETURN as some people call it) keyboard button.
