Pajama mode, the tower part is nearly impossible.
The tower part is nearly impossible as it's pure RNG, you can't control the speed of the cloud rising so it's up to chance if the damn fire spewing gargoyle heads will shoot you or not.

If you cancel cloud it drops you down too far to be reliable to rise back up... seriously poor design again same with some parts in Risky DLC.

I'm stuck on that part too. I wonder if there's some trick to it we're just not seeing yet?

I did it after half an hour of raging.

You just have to insanely time your jump after using the cloud and then using the cloud float instantly... then praying to god the gargoyle will shot 1 fireball instead of 3 and let you pass.

You can jump while on the cloud.

the tower does in fact suck, wait till you get to 5-1/ it is 100% BS

Hm. This isn't working. I don't even quite see how luck can get me through.

I have noticed if I double tap the cloud button after getting hit, I could resummon the cloud pretty quickly and lose very little height. If I jump, I can triple tap to resummon the cloud right about at the point where I started jumping. No good for gaining ground, but good for resetting the timer.

Trouble is remembering to only double or triple tap under the right circumstances. I keep messing up and thus despawning the cloud and dropping right into death.

Even then, this tactic requires me to tank the fire balls so I need full health to attempt it. So far it isn't working so I wouldn't even call this a viable solution.

They should have added a ring or something to grab onto on that section.

you can use the cloud again in theair if you get hit by the fire.
try to move left when the fire is coming from the right, and vice versa. it IS a pain , but it can be done.

"poor design" is giving them too much credit, there was no consideration at all for Pajama mode, no levels or bosses were tweaked to compliment the move set. There was NO design. Pajama Mode would have been better as a random minigame and or its own levels.

I appreciate it was free, but it's still half assed, it is not enjoyable especially since its the exact same levels and bosses. I get it, the kickstarter money greatly limited funding, if so, they shouldn't have tried these DLC's in the first place if they couldn't get the proper funds to make actual level changes.

also wrong on two counts, if you go back to the kickstarter page, you'l see the best friends DLC, outfit dlc, and purate queens quest DLC were all STRETCH goals.
this isnt a case of them trying to get more money, or running out of money lmfao.

I had slight issues with the tower, the most issues I had was in the haunted mansion, and only bc the spiders do 1.5 hearts of damage, and you can't upgade your health.
I finsihed pajama mode at liek 2 am half alseep, im sure you can do it when you're fully awake without insulting the devs.

Ah, well I havent gotten that far. Stuck on the tower too. Shame to hear its rediculous though.

3-2 is pretty much insane, especially with those fire traps. Those are just freaking luck and/or knowing that you can cloud, then jump, and then cloud again, a mechanic that isn't even hinted at in any of the previous levels.

I'm stuck on 5-1, the first level of the haunted mansion- those spiders are just... either you tank a full third of your life, per hit. or you waste your magic meter hoping they don't block your sheep, and even then it still takes an insane number of hits to kill them. Either they need to lose thier guard, thier range, thier health, or thier damage because they're ridiculous as they currently are- I'd settle for any two just to balance them out. Their positioning, too, is just insane.

I wish they would have put in a number of new boss mechanics, too... the sheep weapon absolutely shreds the first and fourth bosses.

It's still fun, but it's frustrating having to make runs at the level just to try and score a squid and then switch to an earlier level to save and refill health.

for the spiders, my recommendation is to go up right away, over the roof, and then back down on the right side. you wil have to fight a couple to leave the area, so just rush the exit, and then go back for dream squids. those are literally the worst part of the game lol as pj mode
