Is there any way to use the alternate costumes in Story Mode?

The new costumes all look cool but I'm not really a fan of the gimmicks around them, I'd rather just play story mode with different costumes, so is there anyway to do that? Even if it's through a mod or something

Unfortunately for your preference, the costumes are directly tied to their own story and own mechanics in their own mode and can not be used in the main story.
