Giga Mermaids Shells (And Where did she find them?)

So the swimsuit DLC pointed out Giga Mermaid's seashells as big... and it's true, but in that case this raises a couple questions:
1: Where did she find that big of seashells?
2: Why does she need them? All the 'normal' mermaids don't.

1. I'm sure, given the even larger jellyfish she's using as makeshift hair clips that it's not impossible to rule out that in a fictional land where giant mermaids exist that there's a possibility of giant clams or shells (especially given that our actual planet Earth has a lot of giant underwater creatures in the deepest depths of the oceans we've been able to reach as far down to see, so there could be even bigger creatures we've not yet discovered).

I think a more pertinent question would be; "how does she keep them in place, even while thrashing around and swimming underwater?" That's one I definitely can't answer.

2. Maybe she's a little more... anatomically correct? I don't think the 'normal' mermaids require them because they lack nipples (I'm guessing, since the human make-shift mermaids and Shantae Mermaid also have their chests covered by something).

Because it's Game Theory. They've relied on terrible arguments as of late that are irrelevant to the actual theory.

Mine actually has "some" basis, as Shantae is intentionally written as out of place in her own universe, due to her not being made by Matt Bozon himself, but by his wife.

the reason for Giga mermaid's shelll was, according to wayforward on kickstarter, because while the ordinary mermaids are small enough to realistically have no visible details, such is not the case with Giga mermaid. she is too gigantic to not be noticeable. people would complain without her shells.
