Absolutely love it - But Zen Mode?
Absolutely overjoyed to see this arrive on PCs, and was more overjoyed at the prospect of a Zen mode. However, am I right in my suspicion that Zen mode must be "unlocked" by doing something like achieving all 4 original goals? If not, how do I access Zen mode, and if so ... *sigh* I'm not quite THAT adept at the game (yet?), would be sad if that means I won't be able to access Zen mode for quite some time...

That is weird. I have just finished my first Normal game, beat some but not all of the objectives and I am allowed to play both Plus and Zen. What is more, I am pretty sure I could have started both Plus and Zen even without playing Normal once. Myabe you are missing something?

I must be ... I'll try clicking like a madman. Thanks for the input!

Nope... No success still! I select new game, yet cannot choose anything but "normal". Probably some small something-or-other I must be overlooking...?

I was able to play Zen mode after completing my first game, only achievement I got was to reasearch all monilths.

The alternate modes will unlock once you're fully researched your first Monolith. It's basically to make sure you know the ropes before trying the other modes (neither of which have the tutorial).

If you're in a hurry you can safely quit that round once the Monolith is researched, you will then have access to the other modes.

... Very curious indeed, as I have successfully researched one monolith.

When in doubt, reinstall :) Thanks for the clarification, Grape!

Success! Not sure what happened, as it even retained my old level in progress, but all is good in the Rymdkapsel hood now, Zen-wise. Thanks again to everyone for their assistance.

Oops, sorry for saying something that was not fully true, then. Enjoy the game :).
