EDIT: After some testing, connecting two controllers allows me to play the game properly in 1P mode. Connecting 3 allows for 2P.
Can I get some more help though?
Edit: The wireless 360 controller and the wired 360 controller have different drivers under Windows, and nearly all developers only support the wired controller. Blame Microsoft.
It's Microsoft's fault that the wired and the wireless controllers have different drivers, as it's their hardware to begin with. This is the same company that gave us XInput, an API that is vastly inferior to DirectInput, just because they wanted to.
