my arcade stick controller goes crazy on the menu

Hi,
I've downloaded Ikaruga some days ago, and the first games were perfect.

I wanted to play today, once again, but once the menu appeared, my select cursor was going crazy. And the arcade stick wasn't anymore amongst selectable choices. Only Keyboard and mouse were open.

Is it a bug ? I tried to unconnect then reconnect the arcade stick, but problem is still there. I really don't get it.

What exactly happens after you press the start button (using the arcade stick) on the press start button screen?

As soon as I get to the main menu, the cursor goes crazy. Like if I was holding either the down or up input forever.

I had the same issue with my ps4 controller. What I did was play the game via big picture mode on steam. So switched off DS4. Went into big picture mode. Settings > then chose controller setting in there. There is the choice of a generic controller so choose that I would suspect for your joystick. Put in your controller if you haven't already it should say on that controller menu that your device is recognised at the bottom. If it is just run the game via the big picture mode and it should work normally.

Hello, thx for your input I'll give it a shot.

The weird thing is the game worked perfectly when I've tried it for the first time. And once I wanted to play it again, this bug appeared. I really don't get it :/
