Other clans

Will the other great and minor clans appear soon in an update? I love L5R, but I'd like to play with my favourite clans. I suggest that the named characters should have unique portraits and models, so that we can see them as special heroes.

You do meet other clans. You just can't recruit them, exorcist aside.

From what we've seen of the devs explanations, they went with the Crab Clan because it felt like the easiest clan for anyone new to the franchise to understand. Hopefully if this game does well enough we'll see DLC or even other video games that involve the other clans.

As a lifetime Scorpion Clan member who actually represented the Scorpion in multiple championships...

I would absolutely prefer to play my clan.
