Cabal Online will not launch.

After the updater finished updating I launched the game but nothing happened. There is no .exe in the Task Manager so I decided that I would visit the site and download the launcher from there instead. Unfortunately, the the setup site for the client download cannot be reached either. The game looked really interesting and looks pretty fun anyone have any ideas to fix the issue I'm currently experiencing? I've searched Google but most of the help forums were from the Cabal Forum threads that were posted 5 years ago. Any help would be very much appreciated!

If you start the game but the windows never appears go to antivirus and add the cabal folder to exception/exclusion list. Do it in the firewall too or disable firewall.

I've done that but the game doesn't start. Steam shows it running for three seconds then automatically stops. In all honesty nobody should have to go though this to play a MMO and as much as I want to play this I'm starting to lose the drive to try Cabal Online. *sigh* Hopefully the developers will fix this issue in the future.

I deleted Cabal from Steam and downloaded the EU launcher from the offical website. But after updating the launcher and launching the game the same issue as before happened again, it didn't launch with no .exe in the Task Manager either. I'm kinda at a loss here on what the issue is :(

After installing cabal eu, you put the the cabal folder to exception in antivirus?
Because this is what have i done and it's working.

Forgive me, but I have no clue how to do that. Currently, I have two anti-virus software running, AVG & Mcafee(I downloaded the free AVG since my subscription for Mcafee ran out).

I have avg, go to options, advanced settings and down somewhere, are the exceptions

So I added cabal.exe & CabalMain.exe to the exclusions list on AVG and it worked(huge thank you!). But for some reason I cannot connect to the server world I checked my internet and there are no issues and I made my est account a couple days back. I'm guessing that there are some server issues or maybe one of the .exe shouldn't be in the exclusions??

I added the entire Cabal folder to the exceptions and tried again but still failed to connect to the server. I guess it's something on my end I guess.

Hello all,
Unfortunatelly I've faced the same issue since last update.
Launcher starts, but later after clicking start it just shows me on Steam, that Cabal is running (for few seconds), then disappeared. I've tried to add to exclustion whole Cabal directory, as well, as disable antivirus and firewall entirely, but without any change. Also I've reinstalled Cabal twice + tried tricks from Mars server - to remove Game Guard folder to allow Game Guard to be downloading itself again, but nothing happens, so I think, that all is related not to Cabal itself, but rather to Game Guard, which for some reason, cannot be run.

Do you have any clue, what happened?

With no reason and no action, after 3-4 days, XIGNCODE3 or gabe guard, or how to name it, starts after launcher and everything back to normal. Seems, it was from Cabal / EST soft / PlayThisGame side, not my then. However, question is, who will somehow return my time not beeing able to be in game, when BB+ and other services time went out during that time.

Anyway, it's good to be back.

For some reason I cannot connect to the game server. I had issues with the launcher not launching the game but thanks to SSK912s help I got that sorted out. But alas I couldn't connect to the game server at all so I just uninstalled the launcher and the game and gave up on it. I really wanted to try Cabal Online because it looks cool and reminded me of my old Everquest 1 days way back when but really it shouldn't take so much effort in launching a game and I lost my drive wanting to try it.

Hello . I have an issue with my Cabal. I hit Start Game and nothing happens. I tryed turning off firewall and anti virus still nothing happens . Can someone help ?
