144hz Issue

Hi all,

I have a laptop with 144hz screen. Cabal would always start with 60fps cap and I would have to go into the nvidia control panel to force it to utilise the 144hz. This would also boost my fps to like above 100 so the general experience was silky smooth. I have restarted my PC last night and whenever I launch Cabal it keeps defaulting to like 60hz/fps and even though I have an RTX 2070 I get like 30-40fps. I tried to restore the nvidia control panel settings back to their original state, then change them to get rid of the 60hz cap but it just doesn't do it anymore...

Any help would be appreciated.

PS, I am an IT guy so asking me if I tried to re-install the drivers etc is rather ... silly... but I did try that...

Hi, do you already check your in game options?
Also, the game have some new issue due to the new patch, maybe it's not your pc fault, but it's some bug done by the game.
I answered at your question in english so anyone can join the discussion, but if you want we can discuss in italian too. I'll add you.

Hi buddy,

The issue resolved itself after I re-installed the game twice... I didn't do anything different - it's just working now.

The only thing I've noticed so far is that the options menu says I'm running at 60hz instead of 144hz but when I check my fps I get like 120+
