Minecraft Clone?

A lot of people refer to this game as a minecraft clone because of its mechanics, enemies, etc. I however think differently. This game has its own mechanics, like gun. As i recall minecraft has only one projectile weapon, the bow, and th only guns you can get are through mods. I feel like one reason this game isnt very popular is because everyone thinks of it as a minecraft clone. Post why you think its not a minecraft clone, plz, i want to hear what other people think.

People think of it as a Minecraft clone because of how its a voxel based zombie game.

minecraft and cmz are different. CMZ features a lot more hardcore gameplay, a better and more vast combat system. In CMZ it's not about building with a peaceful setting it's about fighting in a hardcore setting. When you play the game you'll realize the differences between the two.

This game is pretty much minecraft, but with guns, thats about it for a new combat system.

this game Looks like minecraft, thats the key, in your screens the envoironment looks almost suspiciously close to minecraft, with modded character models. if you want to stop people judging it to be a minecraft clone, making it look different would be a good start.

except that minecraft was focused on survival and castle miner was based on combat. using the stupid ideas that everything with voxels is a copy of minecraft, you forget that this opinion makes cod=battlefield

I dont normally agree with the term clone but same blocks nearly same textures new on a few but to close i thought it was a gmod map at first

I don't agree on the textures part. I think nearly all the textures look completely different. There may be a few that are similar, but you have to remember: It's hard to make a dirt block look different from one to another.

I agree and a clone or not i am not saying the game is bad in fact some of the most famous games are clones
