Game wont even start up?

Clicked in in steam library, showed up in my process for 2 seconds. Thats basically my 5 dollars worth.

i have been having a problem with the game when i click play it starts like any game then closes the game but the sounds keep playing i have to go to my task manager and end the prosess just to make the sounds stop im running a windows 7 pro with a 2.90 GHz processor and 2 gigs of ram and a 32 bit os is there any suggestions on how i can get it to play and get in game

Some players who experience the game closing immediately after start have fixed it by running as administrator.

Try these steps:

1. Open your steam library and right click on CastleMinerZ, then select Properties
2. At the top of properties window, find and click the LOCAL FILES tab.
3. Then click the button: Browse Local Files...
4. This will open a folder to CMZ and you will see CastleMinerZ.exe
5. Right click on the CastleMinerZ.exe and select Run as Administrator.
6. Click yes if prompted by User Account Control.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything and it pops up and once got to where is say press play and than shut down and it still said it was running

my friends game wont start and hes done everything on the forum to help and downloaded script files he was missing from your website aswell and nothing works his computer is windows 10 like me but he upgraded his from windows 8

for anyone still having this problem follow this file path C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\CastleMiner Z
then right click the castleminer z program (the one with the z icon) go to the bottom of the options and select properties next go to the compatibility section and click "run compatibility troubleshooter". after that click "troubleshoot program" once you've done that select the top option and hit next then hit "i dont know" and once agian click next. once youve done that there should be a button that saids "test the program" it will ask for a few permissions once youve pressed this but it is nothing to worry about. if the game works then close it and click next and thats what fixed it for me have a nice day :)

i bought this game two days ago because i loved playing it on xbox but everytime i try to play the screen flashes but nothing happens please fix this specs: WIN 10 . GTX1060 6GB MSI OC 8GB RAM I5 6600K

i agree and same reason when i messed around with the compatability i found out it isnt compatible with windows 10
